FAQs
01 What therapeutic approaches do you use?
We utilize a variety of evidence-based methods, including Somatic Experiencing, Emotions Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
02 How do I know if counseling is right for me?
Counseling is a personal journey. Whether you are struggling to process trauma, feeling overwhelmed, seeking help with daily routines, or simply seeking a supportive space to grow, we can help you find balance.
03 Do you accept insurance?
Each clinician is credentialed with different networks. We work with a network of insurance providers and offer sliding scale fees based on income. Our current network includes Kansas Medicaid (Sunflower, United Community Plans, and Healthy Blue), Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare. A large portion of our clients are eligible to use Superbills for other commercial insurances to receive reimbursement. We can verify your coverage details during our initial consultation.
04 What can I expect in our first session?
The first session is an opportunity to share your story and discuss your goals. We describe this as a "throw it all on the table and we'll sort through it" approach. We will explore your background and create a plan for our therapeutic journey together.
05 What clients do you serve?
We serve adults, teens, and tweens seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. We work with a diverse clientele from many backgrounds and treat trauma, neurodiverse individuals, and all types of relationships in a judgement free, trauma informed way.
